  • CX Verint Systems updated its Experience Cloud, a customer experience platform, with new digital behavior analytics.
  • SOCIAL Snapchat’s new feature, Spotlight, enables creators to upload original work to be eligible for a share of the revenue generated.
  • ADVERTISING Basis, the DSP from Centro, has new features to automate workflow on ad serving, analytics and more for omnichannel campaigns.
  • PERSONALIZATION Omnichannel personalization platform Clinch has added real-time shoppable video ad units so marketers can move customers closer to purchase.
  • ADVERTISING MediaOcean updated its Scope platform for omnichannel advertising within closed ecosystems. It now includes tools connecting linear TV audience intelligence with CTV and closed ecosystems like Facebook.

Acquisitions

  • SALES Social and digital sales engagement platform Grapevine6, was acquired by Seismic, a sales enablement vendor. The acquisition will result in a new, integrated offering called Seismic LiveSocial for sales and client-facing teams.
  • PRODUCTIVITY Salesforce announced it will acquire Slack, giving the CRM giant an entry into the project management and collaboration space.
  • CRM Facebook announced it plans to acquire omnichannel CRM startup Kustomer.
  • BUSINESS AUTOMATION ServiceNow, vendor of business automation tools, is acquiring Element AI, startup developing artificial intelligence technology for companies.
  • eCOMMERCE Internet services vendor Rakuten completed its acquisition of Fillr, an intelligent autofill service, strengthening its eCommerce tools.
